Sunbury Cemetery

I used to visit this cemetery with Mum when I was very little, as she did a painting of the yew avenue, but we also enjoyed the peace and quiet. The place is sadly not as secluded as it was in the 1970's, with new housing built nearby overlooking the graves, but as a taphophile who loves skulking around graveyards I still found pleasure in my visit.

There were plenty of sad-looking teddies for sale, tugging at my heartstrings. Fortunately I didn't have very much money with me!
