Mark and I spent the final long weekend of the summer down at the caravan at Sandy Balls, and on Saturday drove down to Gosport so that he could show me where he was born and brought up, and then over to Portsmouth on the ferry to look at the Kite Festival at Southsea. As per typical British Bank Holiday, the weather promised to be rubbish for most of the weekend, so we were showered on a couple of times, but the strong wind was just what was needed for the kites!
Never seen kites quite like these before!
