Croydon Street Art

I was in Croydon recently for an architectural photo commission, and was very taken with much of the street art that I saw whilst I was there. Apparently there had been a street art festival recently (Croydon Rising Festival), so there was lots of new and recent work in various locations.

Not street art, but good patterns and shapes

I absolutely loved this piece on a tiny little derelict house by the French artist Kaldea, it was simply exquisite. More on her here: http://www.isupportstreetart.com/artist/kaldea-nakajima/ and https://www.urbacolors.com/en/artist/kaldea

The Dotmaster - this woman just walked through in front of me, although whether she is waving her hand to say "sorry!" or "no photos!" is debatable......

Sterling-Draper collaboration?

Met Morgan www.morgandavy.co.uk who saw me taking some photos, asked if I was a street art photographer and if I'd like any help identifying some of the artists - I took him up on his kind offer! He told me that he'd recently completed a piece round the corner and showed me on his phone, I had already photographed it during my previous visit but after meeting Morgan went back to take a couple more shots including a close-up.

Blending with the background...... Thanks for your help Morgan, and it was really good to meet you too!
