The work is ongoing and will obviously take quite a long time, but the NT is working in conjunction with the architect Allies & Morrison to create a new building from what is left. They won’t ever be able to bring it back to what it was, but it will still be an interesting place for people to visit.

Hard hats and reflective vests must be worn to visit, as the house is affectively a building site.
